AKSAL-SMT, which started its R&D activities at Kırıkkale University Technopark on October 21, 2023, continues its innovative Armament Systems and Ammunition Factory construction works in Kırıkkale province., where it plans to deploy innovative composite manufacturing systems.
The main purpose of AKSAL-SMT is to design, develop and manufacture all kinds of military equipments that Türkiye needs for the defense of the homeland and the protection of national rights and interests, in a sustainable, competitive, original and superior manner. For this purpose, it is aimed to determine current and future defense needs, to monitor worldwide developments and to take measures against potential threats, and to take an active role in national defense by designing more advanced and innovative systems than the state of the art equipment in the field of defense.
